  I was up till 4 AM this morning debugging code for 6 hours straight. I’m tiered, but now I’m back at it again. I have to have this project done today!

  I’m working on a tool pack of WordPress Plugins to optimize the performance of websites running on WordPress as their CMS platform. So far I have about 20. They range from ones providing ways for admins to interact with visitors, to database administering and management, to pages and CMS response optimization. Of course, I can’t forget to include SEO plugins, there are about 5 of them on my list.

  A while back I installed the Wibily bar on my blog. After using it for few days, I didn’t really like what it had to offer.Today I have decided to give it another try. It seems like there are new features added to it. Maybe I will keep it this time around.

  JutiaGroup.com had over 14,000 unique visitors yesterday, with most of those in the early morning. WordPress the and server were feeling kind of overwhelmed. I had to make some changes to WordPress to keep the site from becoming unresponsive to requests.

    The main purpose of using these plugins is to evaluate their benefit to visitor retention. Currently, majority of visitors spend less than 5 minutes on the site. I would like to test if it would be possible to increase the time spend on TitanFusion.net and the blogs to about 5 minutes or longer.

      I know that posting more often also make a difference, if not, the difference. But a lot of my time is spend working on Innovadix.

  Earlier today I made some changes to the current theme code on thetitan blog. My goal is to optimize the code, so the page loads faster, but I also want to optimize the page layout – content positioning, colors, advertisement placement, text links and any other page components.

    I feel that optimizing the content and the site layout will be enough to increase traffic to the site as well as motivate me to write articles more often!

    On another note – last week I changed the theme I was using for Tzanov’s Tweets. I’ve also resolved most of the issues I was having.

  Tonight I’m working on the Parked Domains Network monetization. I need to implement some advertising on the network. Maintaining a large number of domains, as a hobby, can be expensive. Especially where there is the potential for making money from one’s hobby, but simply not doing much about it!

    When I was renewing my domains this month, I found out that GoDaddy has increased their domain prices by about $0.20. It doesn’t seem like much, but multiplying it many times over and it adds up.

  I’m in the process of reorganizing TitanFusion.net. Soon I will be discontinuing the free email service, consolidating the blogs’ back end and dropping some of the apps I’m running. All in an effort to help me concentrate on Innovadix.

    My view is that minimizing the clutter and elements that need attention and maintenance will help me spend more time doing freelance work and finishing Innovadix projects. There are plenty of them right now, and the to-do list is pages and pages long.

    My biggest obstacle at this time is moving the thousands of emails from the different email accounts to a new email host. I did this earlier this year for Oxbury Publishing, and I did it twice to two different email hosts. Then comes the consolidation of the blogs’ back end. Exporting and importing the data shouldn’t be a problem, but attachments and attachment URLs might be. I will know more once I get to that poitn in this project.

  I like this: “The best time to do great customer service is when a customer is upset.” by Seth Godin. I agree with it, but to an extend. At times people being/playing upset with customer service can be for ridiculous things.

  Amanda is starting to learn php and MySQL. She needs something more visual than notepad, which is what I use, to learn coding and make sense of it. So, now I’m looking for a web based php editor. So far I have found phpanywhere.net

  I just spend over 2 hours trying to figure out what the problem with the upgrade of wordpress was on JutiaGroup.com. It turned out it was one of the #wikinvest plugins. I had to dump over 3,500 entries from the database!
