I’m reading emails and I’m getting annoyed by the fact that adults, probably in their 30s and 40s don’t know the difference between “there” and “their”! My guess is they are relying on the spell checker, but 2 things: 1) why is someone using a spell check for a words like “there” or “their”; 2) the grammar checker in the spell checker is not perfect, nor does it know what the heck the user is trying to say. People really need to use their heads, and always proofread!

I finished with the email transition today. It wasn’t too bad. The previous service I’ve used for about 7 years, but it was time to move on. It was a great service, but some features, like IMAP and search all emails were missing. Now I’m using the Google Apps service.

Trying to unsubscribe from JibJab emails is like trying to jump to the moon – You think you can do it, but only end up wishing it was possible! I must have tried doing it 10 times in the last 2.5 months.

I’ve been trying to remove my email from JibJab’s mailing list for months now. I always receive a confirmation that I’m unsubscribed, but still get spammed with their promo emails.

I just finished with the oxbury project. Well most of it. I still have to set up the mailing list software, and there was also a problem with the registration+checkout of new subscribers.

WTF, I just checked my server’s root account, and SPAMmers actually sent emails to the mailer-daemon@
.com. That’s new, at least to me, and I delete at the least 200 SPAM messages every day at work.
