once Google has implemented bookmarks backup in Chrome, similar to Firefox Xmarks, I will be ready to make the switch from Firefox to Chrome. I simply have too many bookmarks to I do not want to loos. Even if I import them into Google Bookmarks, there is method to actively sync them with Chrome, yet.

Google Chrome is a great browser, but I wish it had more plugins/extensions options. I’m sure that there will be soon. Today I read on TechCrunch that a new theme gallery will be released soon. I also wish it would start searching the page when I start typing, like in Firefox, instead of having to press Ctrl+F first.

I love using Google Chrome at work. It is so fast. I think that’s thanks to the DNS pre-fetching. I don’t know if this a feature of IE8, but if it is not it needs to be. It makes work so much faster.

Plus, i think another feature that is slowing down browsing in IE8 is the safe-site checks, which I have disabled, because of certain aspects of my job. But I also find that IE8 takes too long to responded when I try to open a new tab instances.

Although, I do like the “compatibility view” for emulating older browsers when there are page layout and functionality problems. But, not as much as the lack of memory hogging, like Firefox 3.5, because of memory leaks.

Uhh… I might have to retract my statement about no memory hogging. Looking at the system processes. I have 6 tabs opened in Google Chrome and collectively they are consuming well over 200 MB of RAM.
