74 Democrats have signed a letter to the FCC supporting Internet throttling by Verizon, ATT & Comcast. This is big money in play to attack on Net Neutrality. We can do something about it. http://bit.ly/c152zS

I am currently in the process of testing Opera 10. I’ve been wanting to make the switch for the last few years, but I’ve always found my Firefox Internet browsing experience to be more appealing at the end. My test will probably go on for the next few days before I decide if there will be a permanent switch this time around.

I love using Google Chrome at work. It is so fast. I think that’s thanks to the DNS pre-fetching. I don’t know if this a feature of IE8, but if it is not it needs to be. It makes work so much faster.

One feature I would like to have in TweetDeck is for it to minimize to the system tray. Almost all of the applications I use I am able to minimize to the system tray, and maybe add support for seesmic.

it’s interesting to watch how after returning the bogus requests from one IP, the traffic from it stops and then starts again from one or two other IPs.

My domain parking and SEO project has been suffering under some weak DOS attacks. At first I decided to block the requests at the firewall, but today I decided to simply redirect the request, via htaccess, to the originating source.

You’ve got to love scripting and the Internet. I do. Lately I’ve been learning #htaccess, and it can come very handy, especially when people are bombarding your site with bogus requests.

Looks like I will be making the switch to Opera after all. So far I’m liking the interface and the navigational experience, except for couple things. One, I will the password manager would pop up when there is an obvious login field on the page, instead of me having to click a button to show a list of available usernames. Two, the mail client is very nice, but there are still few things that need to be ironed out with it. Currently I am dealing with a email deletion/moving issue with an IMAP GMail account.
