  So, trying to dry out my $250 phoen with rice did not work, unlike the experience others had with the same method. I am guessing it is because of the fabric softener.

  My $250 mobile phone took a trip through the washer and dryer yesterday. There is still water in it, though. This morning I’m using my old mobile from 3 years ago!
