JutiaGroup.com had over 14,000 unique visitors yesterday, with most of those in the early morning. Wordpress the and server were feeling kind of overwhelmed. I had to make some changes to Wordpress to keep the site from becoming unresponsive to requests.

I’ve noticed that in the last month, plus/minus a week or two, the average speed in the morning in the fast lane of I294, northbound, has risen from 70 mph to 80/85 mph. That’s a pretty significant change in my opinion. I wonder why people are driving so much faster?

All roads to and from the work parking lot are in construction. There is a side road that is, surprisingly, not in construction. BUT it does merge into one of the construction road, which I have to endure for about 100 feet till the intersection, which leads in to the work parking lot.

Traffic was really unnecessary this morning. For a first time in about 3 years there was a traffic congestion at a 5 mile stretch on i294 that based on its location should not suffer under congestion.
