JutiaGroup.com had over 14,000 unique visitors yesterday, with most of those in the early morning. Wordpress the and server were feeling kind of overwhelmed. I had to make some changes to Wordpress to keep the site from becoming unresponsive to requests.

I just spend over 2 hours trying to figure out what the problem with the upgrade of wordpress was on JutiaGroup.com. It turned out it was one of the #wikinvest plugins. I had to dump over 3,500 entries from the database!

Wordpress 2.8 is out. There are a lot of nice changes. One thing I really would like to see is build in widgets that can execute php code.

haha, I have the situation resolved. I had to go back into the DB and remove the saved values for the FTP credentials. Surprisingly I wasn’t able to find any solutions to this on the WP forums, but I did find someone had the same problem after doing somethign similar to what I did. I posted about it here

after moving WP from the lifestream sub-domain to the tweets sub-domain, some functions are not working, as well as some plugins. darn!

i finished adding the plugins. at least the ones I think i will need so far. I am sure there will be more in the near future, but for now all I need is for this lifestream to sync with twitter and vice versa
